Swasth Bharat is a registered Trust with the main objective of creating awareness about health-related issues in India. The trust aims to reach the general public through various activities, fostering understanding of health topics through interpersonal dialogue. Recognizing that citizens’ health is crucial for a state’s development, Swasth Bharat emphasizes the significance of good health in driving national progress.
While many developed nations prioritize citizen health by providing advanced healthcare facilities, India has historically lagged in both government prioritization and individual awareness of health issues. Health policy in India has largely focused on treating illnesses rather than preventing diseases, leading to new health challenges emerging even as old ones are addressed.
The organization advocates for a shift towards preventive healthcare measures and highlights the importance of maintaining good health to avoid financial burdens and setbacks caused by illnesses. Swasth Bharat proposes a comprehensive health policy that ensures every citizen’s well-being and focuses on preventing diseases, rather than simply treating them.

Control MMRP Campaign: Started in 2012, the Control Medicine Maximum Retail Price campaign aims to regulate medicine prices to prevent exploitation in the retail medicine sector, leading to government’s initiatives to control medication costs.
Generic Medicine Layiye Paisa Bachaiye Campaign: This initiative promotes the use of generic medicines over expensive branded ones to ensure affordable healthcare for all. Swasth Bharat advocates for greater awareness and accessibility to generic medicines, contributing to the establishment of Janaushadhi Kendras across the country.
Tulsi Lagayiye Rog Bhagayiye Campaign: Highlighting the health benefits of basil (Tulsi) plants in preventing viral diseases, this campaign encourages planting basil to enhance public health.
Swasth Bharat Yatras: These health awareness campaigns involve extensive travels across India to educate people on various health topics, leading to initiatives like the Poshan Abhiyan by the Government of India.
Underwater Cycling: Swasth Bharat’s team achieved a unique feat by cycling at sea level in Goa, recorded in the Unique World Records of Books.
